It is the poweraide. There are two ways to get rid of the whistle.
1. remove the poweraide
2.remove the poewraide and have the helix design machined out of it( wich defeats the purpose of having it installed)

I have an Airaid on my truck and I have a whistle with mine... What I did was silicone the MAF sensor to the mounting bracket and then bolted it on... It helped some of the whistle but I still have it at about mid throttle cruising... Is that about like yours'?

I have the K&N FIPK on my 98 NASCAR Edition and have never heard a whistle noise, but I've heard a lot of complaints about the PowerAid spacer doing this. Most things you read about the PowerAid say it makes a great paper weight and not much else. Having never had one, I can't say either way but I read enough to stop me from getting one.

I recently put a K&N filter in my truck and i do notice a slight whistle when accelerate and then again right before it switches gears. What can i do to prevent it? or get rid of it? I guess i don't get what you guys are talking about when you talk about the poweraide....

Hey Dmarman,
When you see on these boards that say TB spacers or TBS, or throttle body spacers, they are talking about a mod for our trucks. Because of the way they create performance they have a whistle included with the product. Poweraid is just a throttle body spacer made by a company called airaid.
