Just a question regarding engine replacement...I had a engine replaced for piston slap. But my question regards the fluids. Is it a requirement to drain all the fluids completely for the engine replacement(ie. tranny, radiator, and transfer case fluid). The reason why I am asking is I am at 40,000 miles but the engine was replaced at 24,000. I am not if I can wait, or go ahead with the fluid replacement. I know it can't hurt to go ahead, but I am curious if I have the option to wait......Thanks for the help.
