Neal, this isn't the exact answer you may be looking for because I run a Vortech S-Trim Supercharger on my truck, with full Bassani exhaust,10 lbs. of boost, BBK throttle body,MSD dis 4 ign.,Pro- M 80 mm mass air,and a custom airbox. It makes 287 @ the wheels, this is also on a 98' 4.6 so the numbers would be a lot better on your truck, and the cost from Steeda was around $3,400.00 U.S.

Flamedf150-that is the highest rear wheel hp I have seen on the board for a blown 4.6L. I am hoping for 270 rear wheel on my next dyno. Could you show your profile so I could see your mods and maybe get some new ideas. I am only running 5 lbs of boost. How is your 4.6L holding up with that much boost? I am thinking of going for a smaller pulley down the road which will help a lot. I will be happy (are we ever happy?) with 8 lbs.

Flats-Man,As soon as i get a profile ready i will post it up , But my typing skills are terrible and there is a lot to type. But I can tell you that there is no guarantee that it will maintain that boost forever but i haven't had a problem for the past two months.(The amount of time I've been running that pulley) and I am by no means easy on the engine.I think the biggest asset to running that kind of boost is fuel monitoring ,I run exhaust temp, and fuel pressure guages, with a Cartech adj. fuel pressure regulator to make sure that the fuel delivery is perfect, but with that kind of pressure there are certainly no doubts that the strain on the motor is heavy.

Here's a picture of it...Flamed F150

HI!... Thanks for all the replys guys! Does anyone have DYNO #'s for a KENNE BELL "BLOWZILLA" on a "PI" 5.4 engine? Some of you guys are making some REALLY good power with your SUPERCHARGERS! I'm making about 332H.P at the FLYWHEEL and about 267 H.P at the rear wheels. That's going with the proven 65H.P loss through a REGULAR F-150's drivetrain that I got from MIKE T's info from SUPERCHIP's "EDDY" current DYNO, which is 10 times more accurate than "DYNO JET" dyno"s. I want to see if I can hit 350H.P at the FLYWHEEL before installing a supercharger. My goal is 360H.P at the rear wheels!LOL!

Not yet Neal. As soon as I get my chip back from Mike, I will try and make a run. The problem is this: the 4:10 gears made my speedo fast by 15mph. Therfore, when the speedo says 105, I am actually running 90. My high speed limiter is set at 105. With this being the case, I would have never been able to complete the quarter; the truck would have shut down before I finished! The Superchip will correct the problem. This is probably familiar territory for you since you also have the 4:10's.?

HI!... LUTWILLER : Yes! I know all about the 4.10 gear problem. I was one of the very 1st, if not the 1st one that installed 4.10 gears in a F-150's STERLING 9.75 rear end. My truck kept hitting the rev limiter between the 1st to 2nd gear upshift. Mike T. fixed the problem for me by raising the rev limiter 100RPM and lowering the shift point by 100RPM. This cured the problem. Now I just received my new SUPERCHIP "FLIPCHIP" that I had custom built from MIKE T. It should knock off another 3 tenths off my 1/4 mile times.

HI!... LUTWILLER : I got my shift kit from BAUMANN ENGINEERING. It cost me about $325.00 (CAN). I installed it myself in about 2 hours. I've got mine set on stage 5. Stage 6 is total strip only. When I installed the shift kit, I also put in RELINE synthetic trans fluid. If you decide to do this make sure you drain the converter and tranny cooler.
