Talking Is there a better Spark Plug

I been reading all the threads on spark plugs and wires. I debating on two brands of plugs.

NGK Plat.
Bosch plat +4

I have not seen alot of posts reguarding the NGK but would like to hear about experiences with them.

I've often heard and read(particularly on this site) that the Bosch Plat.+4 plugs are a complete waste of money. A friend of mine used them in his Mustang, and he said they weren't worth a s**t. Now as far as the NGK's, I wanted to use them in my truck but no one around here would sell them for less than about $9 each--I can buy original Motorcraft's from Ford for cheaper than that (only $8.20 each) So, I just used the Autolite Platinum's, but if you want a suggestion between the Bosch and the NGK's, I would have to suggest the NGK Plat.
I use the NGK plat. in my car (mitsubishi) and the "regular" NGK's in my boat and have had excellent service with both. When I changed from the factory AC Delco plugs in my boat to the NGK's, I noticed a bit better fuel economy--maybe it will do the same for your truck.

Just my .02 worth though--hope it helps

Unless you are planning to upgrade to a HP ignitions system (Jacobs/MSD), stay with the stock plugs. Their only advantage to platinum is they LAST LONGER!!!!!!!!!! HP ign systems require copper core plugs, "cheap"...Mark...aka sundayniagara@hotmail.com
