simple green?

great as an engine cleaner and it cleans tires real good but i wouldnt recommend it to wash the truck body with,no matter how deluted, has a tendecie to take the wax then the clear coat off

It may not be the best thing for wax - but it is not going to take the clear coat off! Give me a break...

It is far less caustic than most tar/bug removers.

hey texfordD I detail cars for a living. I have gotten simple green on alot of epensive car's finishes. Didn't hurt them. Just had to re-wax.

I simplegreened my whole truck before I zainoed it. Didn't strip the clearcoat, only the wax like I wanted.
