I've got a 2001 - and to my suprise - when looking at the engine. No spark plug wires.

Ok - I now know that it's some kind of new-fangled coil on plug setup.

I'm an old guy - what all do I need to remove from the top of this engine to get to the plugs? Is it doable by a Do-it-yourselfer?

I have the 5.4 liter engine with 60K miles and I think it's time to Change and Gap them. I'll order the expensive Denso Itanium plugs and go see if I can find a repair manual.

Has anyone attempted this operation? Does the Fuel System have to be removed?
