The hood on your truck is awesome. Where did you find it? Is the whole hood replaced, or is there a piece glassed on?

It's an all-steel replacement.

Reflexxion makes it.

It's the Domination Series "Cobra" hood. The cowl is functional but the scoops are not (yet).

Before I go any further, I need to thank everyone involved in this project,

Many of the DFW guys showed up, and I thank them for their interest.

Patrick (Mudder) and his father were invaluable!
They provided me a place to work and they were there to help every step of the way.
I am indebted to them.

Cool

It is time for me to thank Crash 1, MUDDER, Mudders Dad, who I have yet to meet, and Joe. Thanks to all for making me feel at home and for taking such good care of my truck. I am at a cabin in the north woods of Wisconson on a borrowed computer and had to drop you guys a line. See you on the 18th or at the Dyno on the morning of the 20th. Thanks for putting my little truck on steroids!

Thanks, Flatsman!

We have had a blast on the job, and everything went smoothly. It will be interesting to see the new dyno numbers.

(If we ask nicely maybe *he* will post the results...LOL)

Side note- Your truck now sounds and moves more like your "daily driver" ...LOL!!!
I guess you'll have to change your signature...

I look forward to seeing everyone on the 21st!

mudder-
Your truck looks real nice. I'm glad you put a picture of the supercharger there because I was really wondering what it all looked like. Something that I don't seem to see in any of these postings on superchargers is whether or not there might be problems with the lower end of a stock 4.6 and 5.4 motors. In addition to my 150, I also own an '89 Thunderbird SC with the Eaton supercharger. When they first put the supercharger on the motor they were breaking the cranks so they had to make them differently. Did you do any research on whether these motors will take the supercharger without blowing the bottom out? My TB - SC is 12 years old and it is still as strong as the first day I got it. Absolutely no problems with the supercharger. That's why I thinking about adding one the my F150.

Mr. Wizard,

I have worked very closely with Chris at Magnacharger and I am combining this technical knowledge with my hands-on experience with supercharged F-150's and ten years experience as a Ford Electronics Specialist.

I am not concerned with reliability with this kit. In fact, the anticipation is overwhelming.

Bear in mind, as the documents state, it is not advisable to install a supercharger on an engine which is not in proper working order.

I have started the install on my truck. I have mounted the pump, coolant reservoir, and intercooler radiator. This install WILL be complete in time for me to detail my truck and make the road trip to the Heat Wave... BLOWN!!!!!

With Mumbly, Flatsman, and the Lightning guys around, it looks like there will be alot of whinin' goin' on during this trip!

I doubt anyone will be asking "Are we there yet????", though!

Some of my install pics will be posted soon.

Cool

Crash 1-I just got home at midnight and will be heading to Texas tomorrow. I can't wait to drive the truck for the first time since the install of the Magnacharger. I knew the install would be very profesional but from the pictures and what Sixpipes has told me, you guys out did your selves. Again thanks for being a Pro and doing such a great job on my toy. See you at the Heat Wave on Friday. Good luck on getting your "sleeper" blown for the Wave!

I think the blower will put a big grin on your face...everyday!!

It's Christmas morning at my place!!! OK, OK. It was my birthday, though! I completed my install last night. As it turns out, the truck is definitely still a sleeper. You have to look closely even with the hood up.

I appreciate your compliments and comments, and I am really happy you are impressed with our work.

I will post more after a few more miles on the road.
