Carbon Kevlar brake pads
Just received an e-mail reply from http://www.porterfield-brakes.com
I resqueted availability of their carbon kevlar brake pads for the 2000 F-150 but they only have for or until 98 F-150, are the 98's the same rotors as the 2000?? , your help would be appreciated.

Q: Where did you get your underhood sound-deadening? Do you like it? What are your comments?

I was reading in the lightning tread sometime around march 18 or 19 and there was a post for this same item , so I orderd it trough www.fordpartsnetwork.com www.modernmustang.com these come standard on 1999-2000 expeditions, they are a perfect fit, the engine is quieter than before, if you are intrested here is the p/n

N808842S .85 ea

The engine drone is annoying -- I suppose it is due to the plastic intake manifold (!).
I'm from the school where if it makes noise it should be fast -- and mine is not fast, so...
