To disconnect the cruise control with the brake pedal takes an agressive (not a tap)application of brakes and often to get the transmission out of park the brake pedal takes quite a bit of depression to be able to move the shift lever.

anyone encounter this and can tell me what part is going bad.

 

So far I just have to give it a light tap to stop cruise control and just a little presure to get it out of park you may have a bad sensor on you brake pedle take it in and have it looked at.
