Tires

I have Firestorm wilderness T/A on my truck, they only have about 22000 Kms on them but the rubber seems to be turning brown instead of the black it is supposed to be, any ideas anyone?

tires going brown

I just got off the phone with firestone's engineering department and this is how they explained it to me, they said the brown tinge on the tire was actually the moisteriser they impregnate into the tire to keep the tire soft and to stop sidewall cracking. He said that the warmer it gets out the more I will see that happening! Not sure if I beleive him I think I will follow your advice instead!
