Question 16x10 wheels on a '97 offroad

has anyone ever put on 16x10 wheels on a 97 or 98 4x4 flareside. do those wheels clear the bigger calipers on the offroad packge. what i am trying to do is put on those wheels(preferrably in black) and 33x12.50 tires.
also is ther anywhere i can get 16x10 wheels in black that fit the 97 f150 bolt pattern?
thanks for any help!!!

Well I'd suggest starting by opening your eyes first. Those are wheels are EVERYWHERE. There is no upgraded brakes between the 4x4 and the ORP. All the 4x4 got the EXACT SAME brakes. So yes a 16" wheel will fit. I don't know why people always think that the ORP gets all these upgraded goodies that a regular 4x4 doesn't get. The only difference is you get 17" wheels (alothough I've seen some with 16s from the factory), stickers, most cases got 3.73 gears, and the flimsy factory skid plates. Aside from that nothing is different than the regular 4x4. Look at American Racing, Eagle Alloys, Xtreme Alloys, Rock Crawler, Mickey Thompson, and Weld just to name a few off the top of my head. Everybody and their dog carries a 16x10 wheel for a 5x135mm bolt pattern.

You DO NOT need 16x10 wheels for those tires a 16x8 wheel is sufficient unles you want a 10" wide wheel. Like PS said lug patern is 5x135mm

I would have to agree with Richard, you can fit those tires on 16X8 and on top of that the tires will "bulge" out a little more on those rims which will protect you rims better i you off road or even hit a curb or something. I have 16X8 and am running 35X12.5
