Wheels that keep turning while the truck stops?
They seem to be becoming more and more popular round the hood. Mostly on Drug dealers' Escalades and NAvigators. Other than that I see them sometimes on older SUV's owned by thug wannabe's who could only afford to drop all that cash on rims cause they live with Mommy. It's kinda retarded lookin actually... 1 thousand dollar 89 Jeep Cherokee sittin on what must be 5 thousand dollar rims. Anybody here priced anything like that for their Fords? What prices have you found? You finding them too gaudy or ghetto lookin or do you think it's tasteful?

So tell me, are they balanced after you attach that throwing star to the wheel? Hmmm, heh hmmm?
Doubtful, but...
The solution would be:
First, to ensure the "spinners" are on center with the axle, and centered on axis (x and y) with the wheel. These parameters, presumably, are in most situations, correct.
Second, these "spinners" would need to be balanced independantly of the wheel.
If this is done, they would look cool(opinion) and would not adversely affect wheel balance...
Something tells me this balancing does not happen, does it?
If the balance is done either without the wheel "spinner" attached, or balanced as one unit; when the wheel and the "spinner become asynchronous, the wheel will be out of balance.
And the presumed quality (selling point) of the wheel is just that, a "spinner."
"Wheeee!!!"
That is all I have to say, I am now going to go tighten the spokes on my "dayton's"
