FREE TIRES FOR LIFE!
If you have not checked your spare tire on your new F150, please do so! It's probably damaged already, mine is with 3500 miles on the truck! but, this is a good thing!!!!
Since Ford is only replacing the spare tire which is damaged (obviously damaged by the choice of location), and not trying to FIX the problem, this is the solution:
1. Every 5,000 miles, have the spare tire checked for damage by a Ford dealer. When it is damaged, and it will be, get them to give you a new one.
2. When the new tire arrives, ask them to rotate your tires, installing the new spare into one of the four wheels and an older one in the spare tire holder (with no extra padding provided by you!).
3. go to step 1.
Enjoy your "Ford's free tire replacement" program for the remainder of your Ford ownership.

just went out tonight and pulled the spare
down
yea it has the 4 rub marks on it
so it's in the back of the bed for now
only 3,600 on the truck
can't remember the last time i've seen a truck as good looking as yours
my best at milan was a 16.77 and a 16.8

Manx, no, seriously, YOUR truck was the best looking truck at the Milan meet, at least in my opinion! 
Frank, If Ford decides to FIX the problem instead of replacing the tire everytime, I'll be a happy camper, and based on experience, we should all go thru about 2 complete sets of tires before they get off their "bow-tie" anyways!
