I don't have any personal experience with the Michelins but have heard nothing but great things about them. I just put on some BFG All-Terrains TAs and love the looks of them. I did lose some ride quality and somewhat regret not going with the LTX's for that reason. Oh well, at least they look awesome.

Cool

Well Moveover, I know of three people that have had other tires (Firestone, Goodyears and Yokohama's) and they all went to the Michelin LTX M/S's and they all love them. I was one of these people, I had the yoko's before and let me tell you. Night and day between those two different tires. The yoko's would spin on wet surfaces when taking off from a wet corner but the Michelin's grabbed and walked away. They are also excellent in the snow. I currently live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and we get snow but my parents live about 2 hours north of me and they can get snow. My dad is another one of these people and the first snow they got he almost lost the truck turning a corner with the goodyears, put the Michelins on and he has had no problems since. My friend is the last one, he had the firestones and he like the ride much better from the Michelins. I paid $120 CDN per tire and I don't regret it one iota !! I would make one suggestion, if you don't do any heavy hauling, I would get the 105S tires, they are not extra load (108S). I have a set of 108S for my winter tires and find that they ride a little rougher than the summer ones (105S). Either way, you can not go wrong with the LTX. Their website is www.michelin.com

I switched from the stock tires to michelin's and what a difference in the ride and handling. I even went up a load range to "E" and they still handle great! I love it when I go into the turns and all the passenger cars are hitting their brakes and I just cruise on through.

Can't remember the series (LTX) but they were extra load (108S). Wasn't bad for ride but nothing compared to the Michelins. They just won't hook up when the road was wet. In the snow, they weren't too bad BUT my money rest on the Michelins, now and forever !!!
