Post 285/75/16 On a 4X2 not lifted F-150. Can it happen?

I have looked through all the posts here and have read numerous people say they've done it and then there are people that say it cant happen. I'm just looking for clarification.

Yes it has been done, its kind of like some can and some cant, dont know why but I have seen the cans...Dave

Sure you can ! I have 275/60/17's and I had to use a wire tie to hold the left front plastic fender liner back to keep it from rubbing on sharp right turns. They are only .2% larger circumference than my factory issued, but much wider. I am sure you have checked www.powerdog.com to get an idea of the change it will make in your speedometer and effective gear ratio.
