Factory TakeOffs and Chrome Exchange

Anybody ever do business with these people. I was wondering about the quality of the chroming and what to look for. I live fairly close so maybe I'll drive the 45 miles and look at 'em (for all the good it'll do me; Oooh... Shiny). I see they have decent prices on factory takeoffs too. They have a chrome "exchange" program. They want $500 and my 17" ORP wheels in exchange for the same wheel chromed. Is this reasonable? All the chrome shops want $110-$150 and the wheels in their possesion for two weeks. For mail ordering they want a $500 core on your wheels until you send 'em in. Just curious.
And does anyone know if my 2000 still has the 5 on 135mm, it's build date is 11/99. Thanks
