Post 315/75-16 BFG's on Order

Well I ordered my 35" tires today from a friend that works at NTB. No discount on the new Ko's at all. $199 is his price also. They are making $$ in the mounting. He did mention i need to get a wider wheel so the centers do not wear funny. I thought the stock aluminum wheels were 16x8. He said to go to 16x10. Any thoughts....American Racing Baja's sound good...

One ?, How are you going to fit 35's without a lift? It's not possible. You didn't mention anything about a lift in your post.

I just got done doing the same thing you are. I ordered my tires and wheels for 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers. I got 16x8 Ultras. Total bill was $1530. Not sure it it was pricey or not. But worth it. They didn't say anything about prefering the 10s though. My factory rims were 16x7 on my 99

Just picked up the tires an hour ago. Can we say huge !!!. We my body lift won't be on till next weekend, so the tires will collect a little dust while waiting :-) Can't wait.......(What's this about a kid in a candy store? hahahah)

I have a 97' F-150 4x4 ORP. I installed a Performance Accessories 3" body lift on it last week-end, If you have any questions feel free to ask. I also ordered BFG MT's 35x12.50x16.5 and American Racing Baja's 16.5x9.75 yesturday. I am also going to order the Westin step bars soon. I would lik to see a picture when your done.

Hey I just bought 35" (315/75-16) BFG AT-ko's too. Im picking up my newly lifted truck tomarrow (Sat) and im in friggin stiches!!! I CANT WAIT...oh I paid 189ea. for mine and was told NO markup aswell. I figure its well worth the extra dough to get 16's instead of 16.5's if the rumor is true. What rumor you ask?...Ive heard from lots of sources that tire manufacturers will eventually 'phase out' the 16.5" tires completely. Also, these were 'niche tires' that only fit a small group of truck/SUV's..and arent needed anymore since the rim manufacturers caught up with 16's that fit these applications now. Take care everyone!

I dont have a floor shifter. Unfortunately i cannot find the instructions but i seem to remember they did address floor shifters and extentions, but it cant be too hard. As for the rest of the kit I highly recommend it. I just put 35x12.50.16.5 BFG MT's under mine and it looks great.
email me if you have any more ?'s
