Perhaps.

But some of us prefer to get back on our own in time for dinner instead of breakfast.

It depends. There are some mud holes that I would not want to get stuck in the middle of. cause if you have to winch out of it, it means that someone is getting DIRTY! Easier and cleaner to just pull a lever.

Getting dirty is half the fun. A friend of mine had a truck with 39.5x18 boggers on it. He could go anywere in 2 wheel drive.

It's one thing to have a 2 wheel drive V8. But do you think it is the same with a V6?

I have a 5spd 4.2 with 17 inch wheels and 32 inch tires. I only go off road when I have to (friends get stuck). The reason I didn't get 4x4 is because I didn't think I would need it. I haven't needed it yet.
