Post Vibrations

I went to have a different set of tires installed, mine were too loud, and I noticed this groove in the axle or hub. I asked the guy installing the tires should there be something in there? He said I dunno I think maybe. I called ford and sure enough there is a O ring that fits in that groove that centers the wheel. Bingo cured my vibrations at start and while stopping.

Just proves you have to watch everthing they do!

Cool

Nitrox

My truck is a 98 f250 LD. I don't know if all the trucks use these but if you don't have them in it feels like a tire is out of balance or you have bad u joints. I bet you could pick these up at ace hardware, they are just O rings.....ford had them for about a buck a piece, not too bad. I hate that I have to instruct mechanics on how to service my truck....ford boys at the dealership missed it! What are you going do.....
