Post Anyone tried 275-70-17's

I see Dodge has 275-70-17's on their off road package. Just wondering if anyone has tried to put them on their ORP.

I was hoping someone would reply to your post, I'am looking at getting these tires myself. They look like they would be a good fit.

I was hoping so as well. They would fit nicely in the wheel wells and not rub. From what I can tell going to 315's that Pro-Comp makes would definitely rub. From what I have herd is that BFG and Goodyear are going to expand their selections into this size. But it would be nice to see an F150 with them on.

I'm a little concerned that the ORP rims are only 7.5" wide verse the dodge's 8" . But I don't think they would stick out too far. It would be great if BFG. would make the all-terrain in this size, but I don't know if my tires will hold out that long the RTS really stink, with 48,000 miles on them.

I too would like to know about these tires. I'm at 37,000 miles right now(original GY's), and I think I can make it a while yet. But I'm always looking. Who makes the 275's? Before this I hadn't found anything bigger than the 265's unless you went to a nominal dimension tire (33" or so..) I've also been searching for a while on places to buy tires. If I don't go bigger I'd get the Duelers cause I can't afford the BFG's. Thanks for all of the help.

Thumbs up

I just purchased and installed GY LT275/70/17GS-A Wranglers , They are a top of line tire, retail 160.00 got them at tire rack for 135.00 ea. Only had them for on for 2 days now, but seem to feel/grip the road better, the tread pattern is far superior to the R/Ts that I had and are supposed to be great on wet roads,

I decided against this tire because I didn't like the tread, but for anyone else considering the tire...Walmart will order them for $119 each.

Hey PAR how do those tires fit & look? Did you put them on the factory ORP rims? Do they stick out very far? Very much taller looking? I believe this tire size is also available in the ATS Goodyear. It will prabably be only a matter of time before BFG makes this size. Thanks for the info.
