Question Bigger Tire for 17 inch rim?

Well, I think I am in a bind. I have a fabtech 3 inch lift on my truck. I have 17 inch stock rims. I love the rims and I dont want to get rid of them. Here is the problem. The only bigger tire I can find is the 265/70R17's. I want bigger! I would like to at least get up to 75R. Nobody seems to make anything big for the 17 inch rims. I have 275/60R17's right now. It came stock with the Sport package. I dont want to buy new rims, I like the ones I have. I dont want the mudder style tires just an regular all terrain tire. I want to be able to hear the radio while going down the road without the tires talking to me. Can anyone help?

A lot of us were in the same bind. You will not find a large selection of tires for the 17 inch rim. Mickey Thompson makes 1 tire for a 17 inch wheel, I think it was a 34 inch OD, but it was pretty aggressive and not cheap. Check a few of the older threads.
There was a lot of info passed about this. I broke down and bought some AR 16 inch wheels. Anybody want some mint condition 17 inch rims???????? (No they are not for free)..

Besides the 34" tire that jthemis mentioned they manufacture the Baja Belteds HP in 33x12.5-17 and 35x12.5-17. Those are bias tires.

Get the ProComp 33x12.5x17 All Terrian Tires. This will solve your situation. I did the same thing. See the post on the ProComps for photos and more details.
