Question Price of F-150 Harley Davidson Wheels/Tires

I was wondering if anyone out there would know what a fair price would be for a set of wheels/tires off a 2000 F-150 Harley Davidson?

Cool

I would guess that the wheels would be around $285 or close to $300. Tires are probably around that too. I'm just assumimg that the price would be about the same as Roush wheels and tires, which is the above mentioned price. Either way, it's not gonna be cheap.

Uh. I think it's a lot closer to $1000 each for the wheel and tire when new. (Judging from what I've seen on eBay.) In fact, it might be slightly more.

These are 20" wheels that are 9" wide with the low profile tires. If you don't get your answer here, try in the Harley-Davidson area.

Wink

Just called the local dealership parts dept. and the rims are $699.00. He said that he would have to call the tire manufacturer to get the retail on the tire, but he is guessing over $300 for the special low profile tire.

Only insurance companies pay that. Now you know why insurance rates are so high, and why people rip them off. Large measure of unreality here.

Black 2000 SC short-box XLT. 4.2 V-6, 5-speed, 3.55 limited-slip. CD, remote entry, factory side steps, rear fender inner splash shields (TSB 00-09-05), FORD box liner.

My third F-series. The other two: '73 F-100 Custom, 240 cube 6, 3 on the tree, tan, "West Coast" mirrors, step bumper, knitted vinyl seat, AM radio; and '98 F-150 XL-SC, XLS package, Pacific Green, 4.2 5-speed, 3.55 ls, FM-cassette.

GREAT trucks!

Since only insurance companies pay that, I'd like to know where I can get one cheaper. I'm looking for a source.

I am good friends with the owner of the local Ford dealership and although he can get one cheaper than list, he cannot get one much less expensive.

Please let me know! I am looking for a single rim. There was one on eBay and it was all beat to heck -- it had been curbed all the way around with gashes up to 1/4" deep into the edge. They still sold it!

Thanks,

PS btw, until a month ago the price was several hundred less at the dealerships, too. Ford raised prices 11/01/00 for some reason.
