Talking Pictures of 285/75 , 305/75, etc

I am trying to decide what size tires I want to upgrade to. Could you guys with any 285's, 305's and even 315 size tires post your pictures or web pages for me so I can have a visual of what they'd look like? Thanks!

Cool

Here is my truck with 285/75/16 BFG AT/S KO's. I don't believe anybody makes a 285 in a 17" wheel yet.

I think the metric size of Spargo2's tires would be 295/65/17...is this what others have gotten? (By the way, you guys have some awesome lookin' trucks!)

Question

rmagers,

Great lookin' truck. Couple of questions for ya. I noticed in your signature your running 3.55's, how is the power curve w/that large of tire?. Also, how far off was your speedometer and did you fix it...if so how? Oh yea, what brand of body lift did you go with? Thanks alot.

Lok

The tires do make a big difference. I lost a lot of the power. Sometime I hope to get new gears but right now too much $$$. At 65mph my speedo reads about 55 or so. All I did was run beside someone at different speeds to see what my speedo was reading. I can live with it the way it reads. My body lift was a Performance Accessories. It took about 6 hours or so to put on with me and a buddy working at the same time, and with air tools.

mudder,
They fit perfectly! No lift (yet) and there's just the right amount of room in the well. No rubbing or binding at all. Now, if I could only get my hands on a few daylighters!

rmagers,
I know what you mean about lost power! With my tires and other mods I've lost a lot of low end. I'd like to step up to 4.10's soon. Don't forget, with the speedo off a little the odometer will reflect it as well. Something to think about when timing those oil changes!
