Post 265/75 on a 16 x 8 rim

Will the 265/75 tires fit the 8 inch wide rim and not look funnny. One of the local tire shops is gonna quit carrying a brand of wheels and really have them marked down(360 bucks for the set).I don't want to go up in tire size.

Cool

I think they're a perfect fit. I just wish I had waited and got bigger tires and 10" rims, and then a lift, and gears, and....
$360 though, you can't go wrong if you like the style

Flatlander, Love those rims. Very sharp. I just put a set of BFG 285's on my stock rims. As soon as winter is over I will be looking to purchase new rims. Just wondering how much you paid for those rims and where did you purchase them from. thanks.

THe price is what got me thinkin. The style is ok(better than stock) I am just worried about my tires lookin skinny on those rims.I do not want to go up in tire size, my poor v-6 would hate me if I did and I can't see sinkin over a grand on new gears(4X4).I would have never even known about the clearance sale except I happened to run over a nail, so I went to the tire shop to get it fixed and there they were screamin "buy me, buy me"

They don't look skinny at all on there. I know what you mean though, my dad's got 31x10.50's on 15x10's and they do look kinda pregnant. These tires on my factory 16x7's made the wheels look to thin though, and this is just about the perfect width/match. I ended up ordering them through Western Auto (Parts America?) for about $160 apiece plus balancing. I may be willing to part with them though if anybody is interested. I think I'm gonna have to find another truck.
