Question Need New Tires

I have a 99 4x4 F-150 with Goodyear Wrangler AT/S and they have no wet traction or snow traction. What are some good all season tires?

Probably one of the best ALL SEASON tires would have to be the Michelin LTX/MS. These tires have some of the best wet traction I have ever witnessed. My dad has them on his 4-runner and had the first set for 70,000+.

I would reccommend some Uniroyal Laredo M/Ts. I know that they are mud tires, but so far I am very pleased with my set. They are extermely good in snow and they ride nice. Also since the only 16" size if 265/75 they aren't very loud. One of the best things about them is they are one of the cheaper tires I could find.

265/75 R16 Uniroyal Laredo M/Ts

My 2 cents worth

If you're gonna stroke it, POWERSTROKE IT!!!

Thumbs up

Just purchased a set of Yokahoma Geolander AT's. 265 75 R17. They have fairly agressive tread for an AT. But I liked that because I go off road to hunt, fish, or just goof. But I am really impressed with how quiet they are on the road. Don't even know they are there. Only time will tell on the road noise. Just one man's oninion on tires. I like them 100 fold over the coopers that were on the truck 4 months ago when I bought it. '97 F150 XLT 4X4 EXT.CAB OFF ROAD PKG. Not many extras.......Yet......

I have BFG Comp T/As that are about the best tires I have ever had. (BFG is part of Michelin now) Great traction, quiet, great handling. And they are about the only 17 inchers around. I understand they are a bit hard to find, or at least mine were but may be due to being 17".

ANYTHING is better than the Wrangler RTSs.... I had the RTSs on my 97 4.6 and I've got the Wrangler ATS's on my 00 5.4 and it's a night and day difference! The RTS's were all over the place in wet weather, but the RTS's are pretty good...
