Talking proper tire pressure

What is the proper tire pressure for the stock tires{no load} on the 1999 f-150 extended cab? I don't know if the #'s on the label on the door jam are for loaded or unloaded. Thanks, Bob.

I run a little more in the front, loaded or unloaded. Typically 35 in the front, 32 in the rear (unloaded). Seems to handle a little better that way.

Would anyone care to comment more on the 17" Goodyear tire pressure issue. Simply put I've tried everything 35lbs, 32lbs, stagger
front/rear etc; The truck either rides like a tank or is basically unsafe on the highway
(lack of control).

I have a 99 F-140 4X4 Sport Flare Side with the 265 / 70 R 17's and I use 50 up front and 45 in the rear while hot. Sound right? I want good tread wear. -AR
