Thumbs up

Hey F-trucks,

I have 16x8 American Racing Baja rims on mine and they are great. I replaced my factory 17" rims because I didn't like the tire selection and rim selection at the time, plus I wanted the option of possibly going with bigger tires in the future. The 16x8's don't stick out at all, and if you wanna stick 285's on em, well that's the best rim size to do it(16x8). I plan on putting on a set of 285's sometime in the future, and everybody says that a 16x8 is the proper size for them. I'm currently running 265's, and it works great. Best of luck to ya, hope this helps.

F-trucks, I'm planning on getting 16x8's on my truck. I think that some brands will stick out. It depends on the offset or the backspacing. I hope mine stick out at least a little. I mean with 305/70/16's they would have to a little. BTW, which 16x8's

I have the 305/70 16's too. Although they are some pretty wide tires (12" to be exact), they only stick out from the bottom of the stock wheel well covers about a 1/2" or so. The top of the wheel wells cover the tire completly. I wouldn't want them to stick out much more than that - I sure do like the paint! Awesome look if you ask me. Just be prepared to lose a little umph in the get up and go category!
