Hawk Pads--
Hello, just thought I'd share my experience with HAWK brand pads.
I have installed them on my 2001 SC and on my 99 Durango. I had repeated fron brake issues (overheating, noise, dust etc...) on the Durango.
I do a lot of towing with both so I researched these pads and gave them a shot.
I just turned the rotors on both and slapped them in, bled the systems and followed the "seasoning" instructions on the box.
VERY IMPORTANT STEP!
They are a very low dust and low noice pad. Cost was about 68.00 for the SCREW and it's worth every penny.
I had tried the Ceramic pads by Raybestos on the Durango and they over heated too easy.
Give Hawk a try, you'll like em.

I have the Hawk HPS on all four corners, no noise, low dust and improved braking, no problems in 15K miles. I got them at www.raceshopper.com which had the best price I could find at time I ordered.

I put put Hawk HPS pads on all corners, and new PowerSlots up front. They are a little noiser - but just when creeping at a very slow speed riding the brakes - they'll howl some.
However, they are WAY more dusty than the stock ceramics. If I had to do it again, I would probably go w/ either Hawk HD pads or EBCs - probably EBCs.
