Just wondering if I have a problem I'm not aware of. The truck stops, but I'm kinda wondering why the shoes don't seem to be showing any signs of wear.

your rear drums are not adjusted properly and your using a higher percentage of your front discs to stop...adjust out until you can just hear the pads scraping the drum...apply the brakes and repeat until they scrape all the time...having both wheels off the ground is also a must

I figured that may be the case. While I'm at it, I'm planning to change the differential fluid. Are the axles held in with a 'C' clip like my 88 Mustang? Reason being, the drums are stuck to the axles and I'd like to free them up if I can get the axles out. I freaking hate the weather up here. I'm moving to AZ! Mmmm....desert! No rust.

Thanks for the help.

How about a 10 lbs. sledge?

I finaly got around to replacing the drums and shoes. They were working. The shoes had worn down. I guess I just expect too much. I whacked em a couple of times with the sledge and they came off like butta.
