Question Leveling 2x4

I want to level my 2x4 by lifting the front end. I thought about lowering the rear end but didn't like that idea much. What is the best way to level the front end that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Any ideas welcome.

Hey, well it depends if your truck is a regular or an extended cab. For the extended cabs, Fabtech makes a 2in leveling kit that runs about $200. Unfortunately, it will not work on the regular cabs. As far as what's available for the regular cabs, I was unable to find anything to cheaply lift the front. I decided to just lower the rear using the shackles. I am satisfied with the looks, except my truck is now 1/2in. higher on the right side. As far as cost the shackles and install were less than $100. Best of luck . . .

Question

Thanks J_Rock but my truck is a standard cab. I don't like the idea of lowering my rearend ecspecially not after you saying yours didn't level even. I have always liked the looks of lifted trucks. So I will keep looking to find me a way to level it.
I was talking to my friend and he told me about body blocks. Has anyone used them or heard anything about them negative or positive.

3" Spindle Lift up front and 1" blocks in the rear will level your truck and allow bigger tires for around $650.00

ccla~
hey, your truck looks awesome!! just curious if the 4.2L has any problems turning the 35in tires? in the next couple of months i am planning on just a 3in body lift and some 33's, but have been wondering about power loss. once lifted, i am going to get a superchip to recalibrate the speedo for the larger tires and hopefully to help get some power back.

It does OK but I need to swap the Rear gears.

Do this before you get the chip
