F150 Lightning tire size?

I have had michelins but the light truck tire looked more like the working type, the latest I had was the Toyo 275/60/17 on the Explrorer and dont like it, its handle in rain suck, the Yokohama avs great handle specially in rain loved them but they make a humm sound on highway, the Pirellis are great
they handle perfect in rain you dont feel the pull to one side when going over water, braking is excellent,on dry pavement they are like chewing gum they stick to the road, I also thought of the 305 but after checking my wife explorer I noticed the 275 were rubbing against the front torsion bar and I did not like the idea of spacers, with the 285 it looks aggresive enough.

Hey Guys. I just bought tires for my 18 x 9.5 chrome lightning wheels. Discount Tire called there corporate offices or some higher power to check on what all sizes could go on my 98 Nascar Edition F-150. Since it has a stock 2 inch drop in the front Discount Tire decided that the best fit would be to go with 255/55/18 in the front and 285/55/18 in the rear. I get them put on tomorrow. Ill post another reply as soon as I get them on. Oh yeah. The tires are Yokohamas and cost me just a tad over a grand. WOW. What a pocket puncher.
