Hercules Tires
I posted this to the other wheels and tires section as well:
Has anyone ever heard of these tires. I went to their site and they look pretty mean. They don't give any prices or sizes so I'd like to hear from anyone who has them or may have had them in the past. Thanks fellas.

im actually running 265/75/16 hercules trail digger m/t's and have been for over year. no problems, wear great, some road noise, and they have ripped me through anything i want to go through. I think i paid 165 a piece for em. I just bougght four more in 35x12.50x17's for 280 each mounted n balanced that ill be runnin on my new wheels and lift. I personally love the tire, they look great, perform great, wear great, and are not the same old bfg's that everybody n their brother is runnin. i get a lot of compliments on them.

doitonall4s -thanks for the insight. So far, all the reviews I've seen are from northerner's in the mid west and Canada. They seem to be more popular up there - maybe thats more their market right now? I don't know, but the tire guy said they were a good tire. I'm just a skeptical person, and I've never heard of these tires.

i hadnt heard of them either but my buddy works at a small shop and they order them. like i said they looked good, and different so i tried em and love em. The big spacing in lugs helps them clean out, the have a lot of siping in them so you get rid of water faster and they also have holes for studding. my buddy is running the a/ts and he likes them too

well, i had the guy order the hercules a/t's for me. All my buddy's go to him for tires and they say that if they ever have a problem - he takes care of it. He's been in business for years and he also deals in used tires. So, I'll take a chance. If I don't like them, I can always see what he'll do for a different set. I'll keep the forum posted on how well I like them, the wear, and what not.

Petersens 4Wheel and Off Road did a review of them last year, well the Trail Digger MT, and was blown away by the performance of the tire. I have them on my F150 (35x12.50/17) but haven't had them all that long, so I can't attest to wear. I suspect I will be buying new tires in less than 40K miles though. The compound on these is really soft.
The traction is INSANE. We used the truck to haul a buddies boat out of the water when his Dodge 1 ton fitted with Bridgestones would not get any traction on the ramp. I didn't even bother locking the T-case in... Just shoved it in gear and gave it some gas.
What mud I have been able to get them into is hardly noticable. They behave in the goo I have pointed at, very much like the old BFG Mud Terrain TA / KM. Like the magazine review says, point and shoot driving... Pick a line, stab the gas pedal and go.
This should make hurricane season this year a bit easier to deal with...
