It's tempting but I need a vehicle that I can drive in the winter too. I couldn't bring myself to drive a Lightning in the salt and slop, I never even drove my Grand Prix in the winter. A Lightning will also cost more to own (insurance, premuim fuel, license, tires, etc). I would like to own a Lightning someday, but I would want it to be a toy and not a daily driver.

Who knows, maybe by early next year I might be able to find a new 2001 Lightning that a dealer is trying to unload cheap. If that's the case, I could justify the extra cost of ownership.

BTW, I can't to see the wheels on my truck either!!

Later,
Steve

Too rich for my blood though. I had to settle with paying $150 each for some Lightning wheels here in OKC.
Chipper - Where did you find Lightning Wheels for $150.00? I have been looking at some, but $200+ a piece is a little painful. Were they the 18" type, or the aftermarket 20's? Thanks for the info!
