When was your first brake job?

At 82,000 miles there was no warning what so ever that you get to let you know its time for the brakes to be done as I never heard the high pitch squeal that pads are supose to give when they are close to being shot and no warning light in the dash either it was the damn grinding sound that told me it was time to replace the brakes and because of that I had to get new rotors on the front as well so I had to spend over 500 on a damn brake job for all 4 brakes instead of just replacing the pads and coming out cheaper the damn rotors cost way too much in my opion but I had to replace them as they were shot from the littl bit of grinding that took place from the worn out pads.
