17x9" wheels

Can anyone give me the names and make of some sharp looking 17x9" wheels? I'm soon to be getting a 35" Mud Terrain SXT's and i need some good ole metal to make everything look shiny.

What year truck to you need them for? Eagle Alloy makes the 102 (Weld Stonecrusher copy) in a 17x9 for the 04 F-150's that looks good. I have their 16x10 102's on my Screw. Eagle's website is www.americaneaglewheel.com.

Kruck,

I really like the looks of your truck.

I have a 2000 F-150 4x4 with stock 17" wheels. I'll soon be getting a 3" PA body lift and I can't decide between 16x10 or 17x9 wheels.

I want the wheels to stick out a little farther than stock, but not too far out.

Did you notice any performance problems with the 315's? Did you notice any tire rub.

Do you have any other pics than the ones you have in your gallery?

Thanks.

Greeny,

Thanks. I did notice some loss of power during take off, not too bad, I can still spin the tires.... as long as I'm turning :-) The ride is real smooth, much better then the GY 265's

I had some rub on the lower front valance, had to trim that a bit.

I have some other pics, just not up loaded yet... I'll do that today.

I like the 17x9's, they dont stick out too much but there is a difference from stock.

Check out wandell's truck (above), I believe he is running 16x10s. They look real sharp.

I recently put on 16x10 Mickey t's with 37" tires and didn't have any rubbing, but mine is lifted a bit more than you are shooting for. I really like the looks and performance of the ProComp Xterrains. They are not as loud on the street as a mud tire but are still aggresive in the mud.

Indamud,

Your truck is very sweet looking. I would love for mine to look like your complete phase with the 6" suspension and 37" wheels, but my budget restricts me from doing so.

However, I still like the before completion look with the 35" BFG.

What size wheels do you have on with those tires? Also, what are the size of the 35" BFG (315/70-17?)

Thanks for the pics.

The wheels are 16x8 Amercan Racing and the tires are 315/75/16 BFG KO A/T.

I bought he truck used and the previous owner put those wheels on it. When I lifted (6"), I put the tires on the wheels, to save money. I liked he look but wanted the truck a bit taller, so I opted to go another 3" of lift and add new wheels and tires. Needless to say I have them sitting in the garage waiting to be sold.

I've got the MB Motoring 17x10s on a 3 inch lift, 315/70/17 BFG ATs.

See my gallery for other angles.

HillbillyFX4,

Your truck is nice too! There are so many that I like, it's making my decision even harder.

Where do I find your gallery? I would like to see the other angles of pics you have.

I've seen a lot of post where people have said that 35" tires tend to hurt performance. Did you notice this when you went to the larger tire and wheel?

Thanks for the kind words...

The 17x10's I really like, they stick out just as much as I was hoping they would. The wheel does kinda look like it's a bit too wide in relation to the tire, but I'm happy with the way it looks overall.

My gallery is HERE.

The only time I really noticed a performance loss is when I tow my boat. It's not a huge difference, mind you, the folks who ride to the lake with me couldn't tell any difference. The truck's not really all that fast in stock fom anyway, but I didn't get it for the speed.
