305/70/16 mud terrains

i recently put 305/70/16 bfg mud terrains on my 1997 xlt. It has 3:55 gears and the 4.6 engine. I was wondering if i should regear with this set up, and is it hard on the tranny if i dont, thanks

I don't know if it's necessairily 'hard on the tranny', but I know that thing drives like a dog. I had the same set up on my old truck. With a 4.6 I would think you would want to re-gear...I would.
