Any feedback on Continentals

I am getting four 265-70-R17 LT/SUV Continentals at Wally World for $456 mount, balance , road hazard, tire rotation and 80,000 mi warranty are these tires any good? I notice they do not have an agressive tread pattern -------- but I do almost all highway driving. My four present Wranglers are cupped on the outside rib and noisey, they have 53,000 miles on them and good tread in the center and inside ribs. I tried to rotated them every 6,000 miles

At that price, if they last 40,000 you will have a great set of tires.

I now have 300 mi. on these Continentals and they are smooth and silent. The mold marks are not even worn off the tires yet------so far I'm happy

Continentals are great

I now have over 5,000 miles on these tires and they are great. They grip good in rain and are quiet. They do not have an agressive tread pattern so I don't know how they will do in the soon comming snow. Best of all they have an 80,000 road hazard and wear out warranty from Walmart .

Continental Tires

My son bought the same tires from Wally-world and they didn't last past 25000 miles. Never did get them to balance correctly. He is a mechanic and really pays attention to his vehicles, so I personally wouldn't risk them myself. You can get bad ones from nearly any brand, so good luck

JUNK! I REPEAT......JUNK!

i work at sears auto in the st.louis metro east and i will tell you firsthand that i have done at least a dozen tire adjustments on these tires. most of the time its slipped belts. the tires are OE on most new fords and at least 10 of the adjustments i made were under 15,000. at least 5 of the people didnt even bother to accept the adjustment and just bought a whole new set of new tires. good luck.

Talking Highly recomend this tire

As you seen from the above post these tires did not last as long as the warranty but all is not lost. They had 47,500 and Walmart pro-rated the warranty for early wear out, including the road hazard warranty and lifetime rotation/balance so they were replaced yesterday for $295 this is because I used approx. 60% of the expected wear. How else can you get a new set of tires (out the door with warranty and lifetime rotation/balance for $295) I highly recomend these tires for a quiet smooth ride and decent snow traction. I also must say there was no crap from the tire dept. at wally world

Highly recomend

I have had these on my F150 and they are the best riding, quietest tire I have ever had on a truck before. I am going to a bigger tire on my truck if your interested in buying a set that has about 90-95% tread depth left let me know I will work you a good deal!
