Do Napa disc brake pads have good quality?

I just went out and bought some Napa TruStop disc brake pads. They are the semi-metallic I think? All it says on the box is TruStop Quality disc brake pads. I only got the fronts for now, but I'll get the rears ($23) next week when I have the money. They only costed me $19.60. Are these pads ok? I've never bought NAPA pads before so I thought I'd give em' a shot. I don't have the money right now to buy the high dollar ceramic pads, etc...Just wondering how these pads will do?

PS- I haven't installed them yet.

if they are from napa and come in the green box that says trustop on them they will squeak and squeal. and most wont fit in the caliper mount without some grinding.

i saw these napa mid grade jobs for like $40 i think that say now with ceramic on the box. dont know how much ceramic they use but they didnt make any funny noises and stopped good enough.

Yeah, they were in a green box. But I took them back today and got my money back. I'm going to get some DuraLast Gold pads from AutoZone. On a side note, I've never changed brakes on my truck before. So I did search on the tools that I would need to change the brake pads. From what I understand, I need a torx T45 socket head that will fit on a ratchet, and a 1/2" socket . Is this correct? Any help is appreciated.

torx bits are for expy's f-150s use 13mm or 14mm bolts to hold the caliper on. 01's use the 13mm i believe.

and if your doing rear brakes its a 10mm bolt.
