14mm vs 12mm

Recently bought rims off a 2001 Expediation for my '97 F-150.
New rims have lug size 14mm and my old ones are 12mm.Rims fit ,but my concern is safety. Is it safe to use these rims or do I have to make modifications and if so what kind.
Any input and advice would be appreciated.

Since the wheels are hub centric its not a problem. The hub actually centers the wheel and the lug nuts only hold wheel tight against the hub. A while back I actually measured the stud hole diameter on a 12mm and 14mm wheel and they were the same.
