What tires for lifted truck

I am getting ready to order a lift kit, but do not know what is a good tire for the lift. I am either going with a 7.5" dual shock long travel kit by Fabtech or the 6" pro comp lift for my 03 F150 SuperCrew 2wd. I am looking at 315/75/16 Mud Terrian or Xterrians. My buddy is pushing these tires on me because he can give them to me for a good deal. Has anyone had good or bad experience with these tires. I used to have some 305/70/16 xterrians and i liked them, but want to try the Muds.

thanks

derrick

From what I've read, the Pro Comp MT and X Terrian are both good tires.
