Cool ne wwheels and tires...

I am stationed overseas right so I m very limited in the info that I get...I own a '03 F-150 FX4 SCrew and wanted to get some new wheels and tires. I was looking at the MB Motoring Precise (17X 8.5) or the MB Motoring Overdrive (17X8.5) along with some A/T BFGs 285/70/R17...My first question is... will this fit? I like the look with the wheels sticking out a little, will this combo give me this look? OR do I need to get a 16' wheel with a bigger tire (like a 33X 12.50) to achieve the wider wheel look sticking out more. I have not lifted my truck and do not plan to anytime soon , so what do ya'll think will work. I have called the states and spoke to different folks getting different and contradicting info and here in Germany big trucks well...arent that popular (although I am trying to change that )..Below ids the link of thge wheels I wanna get...Thanks for any advice!!!
V/R,
Dave

Those wheels and tires will fit easily, but will not "stick out". I would suggest going with a 16x10 inch wheel with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing and a 305/70-16 (33x12.50) tire. Of course, you could also use a 17x10 and 33x12.50-17. This tire and wheel combo will put the outer edge of the tire about even with the edge of the fender flares. To fit this combo, you will have to crank up your torsion bars and/or trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. I have some pics in my gallary of my truck before I lifted it with 16x10 Eagle 058's and 285/75-16 (33x11.50) BFG AT KO's. Just do a search for "Wandell".

Wandell,
So if I get a 16X 10 wheel with a 305/70/16 AT BFG..I should be good (i.e. no trimming or lift needed)???
Thank you for your info and your truck looks awesome!!!!

You will have to trim a little. Maybe an inch. Here's some pics of my valance.

MB Motoring Rocker -

Did you put any lift on your truck, or is this the standard height? Also, any chance you could measure the horizontal distance between the outside edge of the tire and the outside edge of the fender well? .... How much distance do you have before the tire goes outside the wheel well?

I'm thinking of going with those MD Motoring Rocker wheels, a leveling kit, and Goodyear MTR 305/70/17 ( 33.8 x 12.0 ).

Also, if you could send some more pics of your truck, I'd appreciate it.
