Spare Tire Question

I have a SD FX4 on order, and im looking at new tires. it comes with 285 65R18's and im going to lift my truck 4" or so and add 35's. can i keep one of the stock tires as a spare, or will i need ot get the oversized spare too?

Thanks

This is what I've heard.
You can put the smaller spare on the front but not the back if you have Limited Slip.

If a back needs changing, you put a front on the back and then the spare on the front.

This part didn't come out right though, unless you had a NASCAR jack that could lift one side of the truck...

I should have said,
If a back needs changing, you put the spare on the front and then put the front on the back.

(I worry that people will take me literally.)
