New Revo's

Just got my new Revo's went up to 265 75 on my 16's replacing the orig American Generals. Thanks for the help and advice from those on the board. So far I can say they are expensive, heavy and very cool looking. As you would expect, the truck is planted and rides firm like it should.

Got some Revo's on my truck today also. 265/70-17 and they ride great. I had some Wrangler MT/R and I was so damn glad to get rid of them. Now it's smooth, and sooooo quiet. Installing Edelbrock shocks tomorrow.

4x4 or 4x2? Keep me posted, as I'm going this route on my 4x2..

Mine is a 4X4 XLT. not sure how they will fit on a 4X2, but I'm sure we will get a response soon.

thought about going to revo's but one problem. they don't make them big enough!!. I have 315/75/16's now and i do not know how 285/75/16's would look on my truck.

Those 315's or 305's are huge. The guy at my tire shop had Firestone Destination AT's on his Dodge. He changed from smaller Revo's to the Destinations and likes them but strongly suggested I get the Revo's as he said they were just a bit better. Now if it would just warm up a bit and snow I could see how they do, man I am freezin.

well i have a 6 inch lift also. that is why i do not want to go with too small of a tire. Small tires would just look stupid on it.

Good lookin truck Dewalt. How do you like the Chip Tuner you bought? Now that my spedo is off I have an excuse to give one a try. I have noticed the loss of power due the the gear change and weight of the larger tires. I may look at a few mod's to free up some hp.

Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo is an awesome tire for all-around use. It is one of the few AT tires that is adequately siped for good traction on ice.

Drove around in the little Ice Storm we had one New Years day here in Wi. The Revos did great, with no addition weight in the bed I had good traction. With my old Am Gen's I had to put it in 4X4 to get up my drive. With a nice glaze of ice in made it up in 2 Wheel with just a little spin.

265's are about the biggest you can squeeze under a 4x2 without too much/any modifying.

Best thing I ever did for my Truck, ride is great !

These REVOS ROCK !

Everytime it rained around here in So. Cal. I thought it was going to be my last time I would ever get to drive my truck with the GOODYEAR A/T's that were OEM on the truck, night and day difference in wet traction between the two set of tires.

Get to do a real road test this weekend when I drive up to Mammoth.

Post Wheel Calibration for Correct Mileage

I just recently purchased a F150 XLT that has been upgraded with Harley Davidson parts, excluding the super charger.

It has the 18" Harley wheels on it and I am not sure where to or if I can make sure the calibration is set right for mileage/speed.

Any suggestion?

Have someone drive in front of you on the highway and when they are up at a certain speed that you agree upon have them give you a signal and see where your speedometer is.
