brakeing blues

hi all ive got a 98 f150 with a brakeing problem. Sometimes the pedel goes all the way to the floor but then ill lift it and press it again and theres pressure. Makes for some interesting eventints during a snow storm. I havent had the fluid flushed but i dont know if theres air in the system or not please help

I would bleed the brakes first. If this doesn't solve the problem, I would replace the master cylinder.

The first question I'd ask is whether or not you've had any brake work done lately. There are very few ways to get air into your brake system without doing any work on it. I'd also check the level in your Master Cylinder. Do the easy stuff first before you replace something major for the wrong reason.

SOMEONE on ce told me it could be something else power booster or soemthing like that for the brakes. Ill replace the master cylinder if i half to but i dont think thats the culprate. I have had brake work done but this was hapening before the brake work and the brakes were bleed then all except for 1 wheel.
