I have never had them, but I notice that the friction material is black. In my experiance (5 sets of F-150 front pads) Black material shows the most dust. Currently I have the Hawks and to be honest I like the EBC 6000 series much better. The EBC's stopped just as good or better, plus they made less dust in a month than the OEM or Hawks do in a couple of days.

I don't know if they are considered a ceramic or not, but I like them way more than the 2 different sets of cermamics that I have had. I bought mine from the TireRack, but they no longer carry them. But, if you look here I bet you can find a set.

Ok, they have the 6000 series for 62 dollars.
NOw there is a new 7000 series for $127 that claims 90% dust free as opposed to 60% on the 6000 series.
Do you think the 7000 series is worth it since my main reason for changing them is dust? or the 6000 good enough?
