16x8 vs. 16x10

Im about to buy new wheels and tires for my '99 Single cab/Short bed 4x4. Im going to run 285/75x16 tires. Would yall suggest i run 8" or 10" wide rims? I cant see where it will make much difference but i would like some other opinions. Thanks in advance guys.

I think if you run a 285/75/16 you would want an 8" rim or if you want the 10" rim, get a 305/70/16 or maybe even something a little bigger?.....im no expert, just my 2 cents

I'd go with 16x10's and 305/70-16. Both tires are about 33 inches tall, but the 305's are about an inch wider. I would have bought 305's but BFG didn't make that size in 2001.
