Skip Down to the Picture Post
I have so many questions. Not sure what I'd do without this board. Here is my deal. I got idears.
1. Got a guy wanting to sell me some 02 Lightning Wheels for 250$ /all Good deal?
2. Will they fit without issue on the 03 SuperCrew 4x4? (5 x 135)
3. I am going to have these Powder Coated in town the charcoal color of my truck, anyone have any pictures of a SuperCrew with Lightning Wheels?
4. I am looking to put 285/60/18's on them (All Season) - I don't want the Summer Performance tires, I still ride some back roads every now and again and get my share of show and ice. What other sizes are good on a 18?
Thanks in Advance!

Prices.
I've been pricing the 285 -vs- the 325. The 325 is about 450$ more a set than the 285's ! Wow.. I got a price of 779$ installed on the Toyo 285 and 1151$ installed on the Toyo 325.
Question - Why did you change from a 60 to a 65 on the BFG? Is it because that is the only size BFG carries in 18's (or at least in the 285)?

Bought the Rims
Ok I bought the rims. They are 18x9.5"
Here is my new question.
Can I fit the Nitto ATs or Toto ATs on this truck (325/60) without a leveling kit? If not, will a 2.5 " leveling kit get it?
Also - Will the 285/60's on those two tires fit without a leveling kit?
Thanks in advance

lightning wheels
please let me know how the wheels and tires turn out. i have a 02 supercrew 4x4 that i would like to put the same wheels on but i wasn't sure they would work with large tires. i would like to use 35x12.50, or 37x13.50's. i here the lightning wheels have a backspaceing of 5.8" and a offset of +14. everyone has told me you need lightning steering stops part #(M-1010-L).

Looks great
Just FYI, you cant use a leveling kit on your truck. You have torsion bars. The good news is, you can get some lift from them for free (but you do need to get an alignment done). The only bad part is that it causes the ride to be stiffer, so you might not like that.
The next set of tires should be taller if ya ask me. Those dont seem to fill in the wheel well quite enough. But that still looks good as it is.

I was going to have them powder coated.. but the silver/gray matched the lower trim so well that I thought I was wasting my money.. I think I was correct.
I agree.. I would have rather had the 325's... but I've waited over 2 months and now they are saying it could be another 3-6 months - and winter is approaching... I had bald badly worn original tires on the truck (48k on them)
Yes - the front will get lifted after winter... too many irons in the fire right now... but these sure help me get motivated to play with the ford again!
I got too many toys!!
