Cool What do you think - Black or Chrome

I want to get some opinions and hopefully some pictures from you guys.

I have an 05 F150 4x4 Lariat in all Black, not the two tone. I want to get some 20" wheels but I am on the fence when it comes to color. Should I go with black with a chrome lip or all chrome? If you have a similar setup, can you show me some pics?

I have added the chrome tubular running boards, chrome tubular grille and the leveling kit since the picture was taken but you'll get the idea.

Thanks

I am a fan of black. but since you started with chrome, I think you need to go that way.

IMO black works best if everything is blacked out. My truck for example is true blue. All the bolt ons are black. Chrome bumpers, but in ohio painted ones rust fast from salt. I would do black wheels to keep the look going of black and blue, but I just got a deal on some eagle 187s...

So far, it seems split right down the middle - 1 black, 1 chrome and one who likes the black but thinks I have started down the path of chrome and should continue. All make good points - who doesn't dig a sweet bat-truck?

Go with chrome. Easier upkeep and doesn't chip or peel off like half & half or straight black tends to do. Your choice though.

I think I would go with chrome. This will give it a nice MARK LT look to it. Nice forum name

I just got black 20s on my truck today. They have some chrome fangs around the outer edge. I'll hopefully have some pics up (high quality, not the garbage in my gallery now) within 24 hours. Personally since your truck is black I would go for all chrome, but the wheels I have could be a compromise. I went for black because my truck is white and the contrast looks SICK!

I agree wit nico, personally i think black rims are the new sh*t, especially on a black ride looks sick but i also think black rims are better for a street look and since youve already started with the off road style with the chrome bars and stuff think you really needa go with chrome rims man.

Chrome it is then.

You're right, the black wheels look rad with the white and red trucks or the 'blacked out' look but the chrome does create a better contrast with my black paint.

I am going to go with chrome 22'' Dirt Naps with 305/45/22 (33s).

Thanks for the advice. I will update my gallery once I get them installed. Here it is before.
