Torsion Bar Raised?

The pros are the truck looks better and gives you slightly more clearance for larger tires. Also, the initial portion of the front suspension's travel is slightly stiffer.
The cons are the initial portion of the front suspension's travel is slightly stiffer. Some people love this, some hate it.

the thing about leveling a truck with torsion bars is that you should immediatly have it re aligned to adjust your camber. as you will find out it will give you a negative camber condition, chopping your tires. depending on how much you lifted the truck you may need a camber cam kit to keep the wheels straight up and down. the alignment shop will be able to neutralize the camber without the kit but there is not enough of a lobe on the cam to keep it in place. a simple speed bumb can knock it out of camber. as far as price goes for the kit, im not sure, i said to hell with it and i took my truck to the dealer and had them bring the truck back to stock specs.

I have the front of my '99 pretty well maxed oout as far as the torsion bars goes. Don,t really like the ride, but will live with it until I can find a 2-3 inch front only lift so I can ease off of the torsion bars. Went to have the front end checked and it is nearly spot on after the lift! Man said it was closer now thatn before lift! The tires wear extremly even across the whole tread!
