i ended up going with the powerstop cross drilled rotors with ebc pads. i haven't put them to test yet but they look good. i don't do much extreme driving so i'm hoping that the rotor cracking won't be an issue. right now it just feels good to have some braking power back behind the peddle. (old pads pretty well gone!) thanks for the help.

 

I might take some heat for saying this but......you could spend hundreds on rotors and might have a fairly good shot of ending up with factory ones
